Angel Food Ministries Leader: Paula Reed and Martha Hicks - Coordinators Here's how it works: It's both a blessing and a bargain. Angel Food's groceries are sold by the box at $30 per unit. Each month's menu is different than the previous month and consists of both fresh and frozen items, including fresh meats, vegetables, eggs and milk. Each box has an average retail value of over $60.00. One box of food assists in the feeding of a family of 4 for about one-week, or a single adult or senior citizen for a month. The food is not outdated or damaged goods. This is a fresh quality product provided by the same distributors that supply our local grocery chains. There is no limit to the boxes an individual can purchase, and there are no applications or qualifications, everyone can participate in the program. Food purchased as a donation to someone in need is a fully tax-deductible charitable donation. This is a great opportunity to bless someone in need. Current month's menu may be viewed at http://www.angelfoodministries.org/menu.asp
