Sunday School Classes

Not sure where you belong? Just check below to see our class list and descriptions. We have many different classes to fit your needs.

We have a staffed preschool available for babies and toddlers through 2 years old. The children will hear songs and stories form the Bible, and there are plenty of safe, age appropriate toys with which they may play. Snacks and drinks are provided as needed. We have policies and standards in place to be sure this is the best possible place for your child to be.

The Rolie Polies are our children ages 3, 4, and 5. They join together at 9:30 for songs and games, and then divide for stories and lessons. The 3-4 year olds stay with Ms. Angel, while Ms Jan takes the 5 year olds and kindergarteners. These children not only learn Bible stories and song, but also how to treat others, and how to participate in a class like setting.

T-N-T (Travels in Truth) Children in First and second Grade will taught by Ariane Thomas. Ariane has been helping with the children’s choir and was co-director of this year VacationBibleSchool .She loves working with younger children and is really looking forward to beginning this class. Children who already know her are excited about this new opportunity.

For countless years, Ms. Debbie Balser has been a favorite teacher of our 1st-3rd grade. This year, she will be teaching the FROGS class for 3rd and 4th grade. Her classes are always imaginative and exciting, and the children come out with a strong core knowledge of Gold's love and provision for everyone, especially His children. Attendance in this class is high and consistent, because the children hate to miss anything!

S.W.A.T - Students With a Testimony is for pre-teens in grades 5 and 6. The literature for this class is geared towards the daily experiences and challenges that are unique to their age group. LeeAnn McLeod is the teacher for this class. Students who attended VBS have already had LeeAnn for a teacher, and they know they are in for a fun year. Even more, though, she wants to guide them to develop a personal, every day faith.

The Youth department is taught by David and Pam Laffoon, with input from our youth pastor, Craig Olienyk. Their class encompasses daily concerns to youth, and how Biblical direction can help them deal with those concerns. The same age-group gathers for Revolution Youth on Wednesday nights.

Our adult classes begin with the Young Adults of the College and Career class. They range from this year's high school graduates to those in their late twenties or early thirties. Some are single while others are parents of small children. They all have one similar need, guidance in a very busy life. Their teacher is Mike Hicks

There are two classes for mid-age adults. The "Cruisers" are mostly in their 40'sand 50's, and can see “the light at the end of the tunnel". Many of them are empty-nesters, or fairly close to it. Lessons focus on how to apply Biblical principals in dealings with family, work, children, and grandchildren. The class style is more discussion than lecture. The leader for this class is Dave Goodson.

The smaller Discussion Class is a close-knit group that is a little closer to retirement. The teacher for this class is Jim Allen.

The most eclectic class is our Misfits. Their name says a lot, but not everything. This class includes twenty-something’s through couples in their 50's.  There are singles and couples, men and women. they like to explain that if you don't fit in anywhere else, you belong with them. This class is taught by Chip Walker. Our Motto:" We don't care where you've been. We just care where you're going."

The “seasoned saints" of our Men's Class, is taught by Ben Jordan. Although most of the class members are retired, there are some who are not yet to that point, so their lessons have wide-ranging application. Grounded in their faith and beliefs, these men have a thorough and in-depth study of God's Word.

The women of the Lydia class are a very close-knit group who have age-appropriate, in-depth Bible study, and also continue throughout the week in checking on each other and contacting our homebound and older members. These ladies are mission minded, and very supportive of the Women on Mission group.

B.Y.K.O.T.A. Ladies class is the larger of th two women's classes. Three women alternate theaching to this group pf retired women. The class focuses on life-application Bible Study lessons, but also a great deal on prayer as they have a very active prayer ministry as well.
